Creating an agile and robust group of companies, John Blount, chairman of the Ivygrove Group, believes in moving with the times and adjusting business strategy accordingly. As such, we were approached by Ivygrove to help the company grow its residential property portfolio. To commence with the new ‘Ivygrove Homes’ division, we began by underpinning the aims of the division and the target audience. Once we established that the company was to build medium-sized quality homes, we set about creating a brand and website that brought their vision of luxury to life. The overall aim of the website was to drive enquiry submissions from interested parties.
As with all projects of this nature, we began by performing a competitor analysis to determine how other residential property builders connect with their customers. Considering this, the aims of the business and the experience of the user, we then created a site map. It was clear from the outset that the website should convey luxury and exclusivity, so we commenced with a website design that would reflect the quality and style the company intended to bring to the housing industry. To complement this, and the new group branding that we implemented, we produced onsite signage and brand guidelines to ensure the new ‘Ivygrove Homes’ brand remained consistent.

By using descriptive language in the website copy that captured the exclusive, luxurious nature of the new builds, and by echoing this feeling in the overall design, we created a website that accurately reflected the high-end nature of the business.
Within the first month of the website launch, a fantastic 11% of website visitors submitted an enquiry and a low bounce rate of 36% was recorded. We continue to maintain this website and, due to the success of the project, we are currently working on a new group website for Ivygrove.
